Plumbing Installation Services

Whether you're upgrading a single kitchen faucet or handling all the plumbing fixtures for a full remodel, quality installation makes a difference you feel every day. A properly installed faucet doesn't leak in six months. A well-mounted toilet doesn't rock and doesn't leak at the base. A shower installed with the right materials lasts decades instead of years.

At Yeehaw Plumbing, we handle plumbing fixture installation across Summerville, Charleston, and the surrounding Lowcountry — faucets, showers, toilets, and garbage disposals for new construction, remodels, upgrades, and one-off replacements.

Call (843) 509-6943 to schedule.

Faucet Installation

Kitchen, bathroom, laundry, or outdoor spigot — we install new faucets of all major brands. Great for updating the look of a room, upgrading to water-saving fixtures, or replacing a faucet that's beyond repair.

When to Consider a New Installation

Not every installation happens because something broke. Reasons people call us for install work:

  • Kitchen or bathroom remodel
  • A fixture that's finally beyond repair
  • Upgrading to water-saving or high-efficiency models
  • New home construction or an addition
  • Updating the look of a room
  • A fixture no longer has replacement parts available
  • Adding a new bathroom, laundry room, or kitchen space
  • Post-purchase upgrades in a new home

If any of that sounds like your situation, we can walk you through options and pricing.

How Installation Works With Yeehaw

  1. Tell us what you want installed. Fixture type, whether you already picked one out or want a recommendation, timeline.
  2. We show up prepared. Right parts, right tools, floor protection, cleanup gear.
  3. Remove the old fixture cleanly. If you have one, we haul it away (unless you want to keep it).
  4. Install to manufacturer specs. Proper mounting, correct sealing, code-compliant connections.
  5. Test everything. Leaks, pressure, drainage — all before we leave.
  6. Walk you through basic care. So the fixture lasts as long as it should.

Plumbing Installation vs. Plumbing Repair — What's the Difference?

Plumbing repair fixes what's already there. Leaky faucet? We repair it. Toilet running? We fix it. Disposal jammed? We free it. The goal is to keep your existing plumbing working.

Plumbing installation puts something new in place. You're either replacing an old fixture with a new one, or installing something in a space that didn't have one before. Different job, different pricing.

Not sure which you need? Often the answer is obvious once we take a look. If a repair costs more than half the price of a new fixture (and the new one would last much longer), replacement is usually the smarter call. See our plumbing repair services if you're dealing with a fixture that just needs fixing.

Why Choose Us for Installation

Yeehaw Plumbing is licensed and insured in South Carolina, locally owned, and based right here in Summerville. We install fixtures the right way the first time — proper mounting, correct sealing, appropriate materials, code-compliant everything. No shortcuts, no callbacks, no leaks in six months because someone rushed the job.

You get upfront pricing before any work starts. And we clean up after ourselves — no leaving old fixtures on your driveway or debris on your bathroom floor.

We're available Monday through Saturday 24 hours a day, and Sunday 7am to 4pm.

Note on Water Heater Installation

If you're looking for water heater installation specifically, that's a separate service — see our water heater services page for tank and tankless installation options.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you install fixtures I've already purchased?

A: Yes. If you've already bought the faucet, toilet, shower head, or disposal, we can install it. Just make sure it comes with all its parts. If we run into issues (missing hardware, wrong sizing for your setup), we'll flag it before starting the job.

Q: How much does plumbing installation cost in Summerville, SC?

A: It varies by fixture type. A faucet swap is quick and inexpensive. A shower install with new plumbing runs more. A toilet install is somewhere in between. Full-remodel plumbing is priced by job scope. We give upfront pricing before starting any work.

Q: How long does a typical fixture installation take?

A: Most single-fixture installations take 1 to 2 hours. A faucet swap is on the shorter end. Toilet installations are usually about an hour. Shower installs with new plumbing take longer. If we're doing multiple fixtures in one visit, we can usually do 2-3 in an afternoon.

Q: What if you find a problem while installing?

A: We stop, show you what we found, explain what fixing it would cost, and let you decide before touching anything else. Common finds include damaged shut-off valves, rotted flooring under a toilet, or worn supply lines that need replacing. Nothing gets fixed without you agreeing to it first.

Q: Can you install fixtures during a bathroom or kitchen remodel?

A: Yes. We work with contractors regularly on remodels. If you're the one running the remodel, we can coordinate timing so we're there when the plumbing needs to happen — before drywall closes up, after tile is done, etc.

Q: What fixtures do you NOT install?

A: We handle standard residential plumbing fixtures. Specialty items (medical-grade fixtures, industrial equipment, some high-end European fixtures with proprietary parts) may require a specialist. If you tell us what you're planning, we can let you know upfront if it's outside our normal scope.

Q: Do you haul away my old fixtures?

A: Yes, unless you want to keep them. Some folks want to donate old fixtures or use them as backup — we're happy to leave them for you. Otherwise, we take them with us.

Q: Do the fixtures you install come with a warranty?

A: The fixtures themselves come with a manufacturer warranty — that comes from the brand, not from us. Register the product with the manufacturer to activate coverage. Our workmanship is guaranteed — if something we installed fails because of the install itself, we'll come back and make it right.

Q: How do I know what size or type of fixture to buy?

A: If you're picking out a fixture and want a quick sanity check, we're happy to walk you through what fits your setup — send us a photo of what you're replacing and where it's going, and we can point you in the right direction before you buy.

Q: Do you handle installations in older Charleston-area homes with unusual plumbing?

A: Yes. Older Lowcountry homes often have older supply lines, non-standard fixture connections, or spaces that need creative solutions. We've worked in plenty of homes with cast iron and galvanized plumbing and know how to handle common surprises. If your setup is unusual, we'll flag it before starting so there are no surprise costs.
